Bar Floor Crawl
Before I met you I walked straight and tall.
After falling off my barstool all I can do is crawl.
Hit my head again on the brass boot rest.
I want to get up, walk a straight line
but I failed the test.
My lonesome barstool picks me up by my arms.
Counting swiriling stars, in my eyes,
remminissing your sweet charms.
I need a doctor to fix this torn heart.
Tripped over my own two feet.
Got to crawl to the door, so I start.
Doing the bar floor crawl because if I get up I'll fall.
The very same doors that I'm trying to crawl through,
you stept over me and walk in with someone new.
